The incident happened on August 20, 2025, around 11:35 p.m. at Memorial Drive and Boulevard SE. Hinds was on his Harley Davidson when a BMW SUV slammed into him. Police say the SUV driver failed to yield the right of way while making a turn. Paramedics found the musician unconscious at the scene. He was later pronounced dead by the Fulton County medical examiner.
